Privacy notice

PhotoDay (“we”) is the data controller for the personal data you give us when you order a print. Contact: hello@photoday.app.

What we collect

The photo you upload (usually of your child), kept as your device sent it, including anything stored in the file such as when and where it was taken. Your name, email, phone number and delivery address, and your order details. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Why

To make and deliver your print (performance of a contract) and to keep order and accounting records (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

Our print and fulfilment partner (Prodigi), which prints and posts your order; Stripe for payment; our email provider for order emails; and our hosting and storage providers. Prodigi receives only the finished print, not your original file. We never sell your data or use your photo for anything else.

How long we keep it

Your photo and the print file are stored privately and deleted 90 days after your order is dispatched (or 7 days after upload if you don't complete an order). Order and payment records are kept as required for tax purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
